"Studies suggest that STDs are no longer just an affliction of the young" according to a study by the journal Sexually Transmitted Infections writes Tiffany Sharples for TIME.com; and furthermore, "researchers at England's West Midlands Health Protection Agency found that in less than a decade, STD rates had more than doubled among people ages 45 and older." With more tools in recent years to boost the libido and sexuality in mid-life and beyond, for example Viagra and online dating, maybe more effort also needs to be made to educate people on STD prevention.Read more...
